Rick Bragg is the prize-winning author of All Over but the Shoutin', Ava's Man, and The Prince of Frogtown. Bragg, a former reporter for the New York Times, writes the "Southern Journal" column for Southern Living, and has contributed to Sports Illustrated and Food & Wine, among others. He has won more than 50 awards, including Harvard University's Nieman Fellowship. Bragg is currently a professor at the University of Alabama and lives in Tuscaloosa.
