Monte Swan and his wife, Karey, are the parents of three grown children and grandparents of six. They live in the mountains of Colorado, where Monte is a research/exploration geologist. He has been an adjunct professor of sociology and geology. He and Karey are popular speakers and musicians at parenting conferences nationally.
