Former restaurant manager, and a world-class chef. Laura was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Since childhood, she has been passionate about food and cooking. And at about 11 years old, she was already talking about becoming a world-class chef one day. With huge support from her parents, she graduated from one of the top 'natural cooking' schools in Los Angeles and went to work at a local middle-class restaurant as a sous-chef. But her ambitions were not satisfied there... After about a year working as a sous-chef, the restaurant owner promoted her to a well-deserved head chef position. Also, she did some management work on the side - with the idea to open her restaurant one day. Just recently, Jessie discovered her new passion for writing and book publishing - an opportunity to share her ideas and knowledge with more people around the world, so even those who can't taste her amazing dishes can use her knowledge and guidance to enjoy delicious food at home or anywhere else.
