Nisha Sharma grew up on a steady diet of Bollywood movies, eighties music, and romance novels, so it comes as no surprise that her debut novel featured all three. She has written several books, including My So-Called Bollywood Life, which has been optioned for film. She credits her father for her multiple graduate degrees and her mother for her love of Shahrukh Khan and Jane Austen.
