Detroit native, India Williams, is the best-selling author of hood classics such as The Real Hoodwives of Detroit and the Gangstress series. In 2010, she released her debut novel, Dope, Death, and Deception which instantly became a hit within the urban community. In 2011, she created Grade A Publications, an indie publishing company, where nothing but 5-star books were produced. India also worked as a creative writer for T. Styles’, Mean Girl Magazine in 2014. Since then, she has penned fifteen novels, two short stories, and has been featured in five anthologies. In 2023, India’s novella Dishonorable was adapted for the small screen. Aside from writing, India has a Master’s Degree in Social Work and is a board-licensed mental health professional.
