Sally Fitzgibbons' sporting success is matched only by her infectious enthusiasm for life. By the tender age of 17 she was already a Youth Olympic track gold medallist and the youngest ever athlete to qualify for the World Surf League Championship Tour.
Sally has gone on to accrue ten victories on the tour and three world title runner-ups. Sally's dedication to her sport and her dreams is impenetrable - she is chasing that elusive title with unwavering focus and discipline and not even a perforated eardrum could stop her surfing to an iconic victory in the 2015 Fiji women's Pro.
Voted Australia's most trusted sportsperson in 2014, Sally is a passionate sports fan and a qualified personal trainer. Her first book, Live like Sally, imparted health, wellness, and mindset advice and shared the story of her early success.
In 2016 Sally added 'entrepreneur' to her already diverse career, founding her health and fitness business with a clear objective: to connect and energise as many people as possible. The All Australian Beach Body App launched in 2017 with Sally's training programs helping users all around the world get fit, lean and strong.
Sally firmly believes in paying it forward and so in the same year, she established The Sally Fitzgibbons Foundation to inspire the next generation to lead healthier, active lives and prevent childhood obesity.
Summer Fit is Sally's second book.
