Jessica Simon has worked as a wilderness guide, first aid instructor and freelance writer in the Yukon for nearly thirty years. Simon has contributed to What's Up Yukon, UpHere magazine, Yukon, North of Ordinary, Whitehorse Star, Yukon News, San Francisco Chronicle Magazine, and Outdoor Edge. She met her husband, who immigrated from Hannover, Germany, in Whitehorse where they live today. FROM ICE TO ASHES is the first in her Markus Fanger Series.
