Lawson Wood is an underwater photographer and author, known for his award-winning marine conservation work. He is founder of the first marine reserve in Scotland; co-founder of the Nerwickshire Marine Reserve and co-founder of the Marine Conservation Society (Member No.6). Lawson made photographic history by becoming the first person to become a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and Fellow of the British Institute of Professional Photographers solely for underwater photography. He is the author and co-author of over 50 books in four languages. His magazine features are published regularly in international magazines and has recently been proposed to the Cayman Islands Scuba Divers Hall of Fame.
