Alan N. Kay, M.Ed., is a cum laude graduate of Brandeis University. He has been awarded Social Studies Teacher of the Year and has written and published award-winning curricula. Mr. Kay was awarded the 2002 Daughters of the American Revolution National Outstanding Teacher of American History. He was also named the Florida History Day Teacher of the Year in 2001 for developing new National History Day programs in the Hillsborough County and Pinellas County school systems in Florida and became one of the eight finalists for the 2001 National History Day Teacher of the Year. He has also recently been named the Outstanding Educator for Pinellas County, Florida.
