Clare is a bestselling children's book author and illustrator whose books are popular all over the world. Having studied graphics and illustration at art college, Clare's first job was at the BBC as an illustrator for children's television programmes. Since then, Clare has gone on to write and illustrate hundreds of children's books in pen and ink, paper collage and sewn fabric styles.
