Dr. Richard Conner (Nom de Plume,"Dr. Richard") has been involved in the field of Photonics for over thirty years including working as a Business Development Director for Amnon Yariv at Orbits Lightwave, the inventor of the slow light laser. His work has resulted in the development of classified military technology, providing innovative technology used by academia to facilitate Nobel Prize-winning physics projects, the integration of laser technology to enhance sporting events, the adaptation of advanced Photonic and PsychothotonixSM principles to enhance major motion picture films, and quantum cryptography. Most recently, Dr. Richard is co-author of the novel, Tetrastatum. This book is based on his extension of Schrödinger's equations that propose a revolutionary construct of the existing space-time paradigm and delves into the resulting exciting new field of PsychothotonixSM, the measurement and control of human perceptions and related human behavior patterns, based on space-time imaging. Dr. Richard believes that the proposed new space-time paradigm and PsychothotonixSM have significant philosophical and societal implications that should be available to everyone, not just academia. He is writing the book to explain the theory in an easily understandable format, which combines meta-physics and science toward presenting concepts that are accessible to anyone who desires a better understanding of the universe we live in. Dr. Richard's professional career has included working for: Boeing, Naval Air ECCM Intelligence Group, Newport Corporation, Orbits Lightwave, Parrot Industries, CASIX, Inc., and Beckman Coulter, Inc. His work has resulted in innovation at some of the leading public and private sector organizations in the United States, including: Boeing, NASA, TRW, Northrup Grumman, and Ball Aerospace. Dr. Richard's contribution to the field has been recognized globally upon his receiving international awards for Best Photonics Product Development. Dr. Richard invented the EECM Cognitive Machine Vision system for detection of enemy missile threats; the "I* Movie" methodology, which integrates photonic system-level special effects in film; and PsychothotonixSM, to develop entertainment themes and enhance screenplays. He has presented to Disney, Dream Works, California Institute of Technology, and other major film and entertainment companies. Dr. Richard received his BA in physics (honors) from the University of California/Fullerton. His education culminated in a full scholarship PhD program in physics at the University of California/Irvine and a PhD program in philosophy at Claremont Graduate School. Dr. Richard completed his two dissertations (involving human interpretations of laser and electro-optical images) while under top secret clearance. He also achieved: an advanced-placement teaching credential an advanced certification (from the University of Wisconsin) in laser and optical design; and other advanced certifications in fiber optics, computer programming, technology business development, financial products, dance, anatomy, and physiology.
