As a person who loves solving puzzles, Wayne Miller was a Special Agent, Criminal Investigator and Certified Fire Investigator for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms in Boston for 25 years. He worked numerous high profile illegal firearms, bombing and arson cases. During his public and 18-year private career, he examined more than 2,300 fire and explosion scenes. In August 2019, he published his first book, Burn Boston Burn (a Global Book Gold Award winner) followed in 2021 by Bang Boom Burn (a 2022 Global Book Silver Award winner). His first novel, Flames of Secrecy came out in October 2024.
