Bryan Jones is a native Texan, having spent his youth in College Station before moving to Austin. A three-time graduate of the University of Texas, Bryan was also a collegiate swimmer, becoming an All-American and holding both world and American records (which have all since been broken). Through work, sports, and pleasure, Bryan has been fortunate to have traveled around the world. Looking for a creative outlet to share his adventures with his daughters, he drew inspiration from his first dog, Jazzy. A yellow lab rescued from an animal shelter, Jazzy loved to be
outside and explore new places. And, as Jazzy Explores Texas came together, what better place to start her adventures than in Bryan's home state? This book also gave Bryan the chance to work with his friend and former coach on an adventurous story. Bryan lives in Austin and is married to his college sweetheart, with whom he has two amazing daughters. They enjoy spending quality time together as a family, whether hiking, fishing, exploring the great outdoors, engaging in local community events, or simply enjoying a quiet night at home.
