Don Ross is the head of the School of Society, Politics and Ethics at University College Cork, Ireland, Professor of Economics at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and the Program Director for Methodology at the Center for Economic Analysis of Risk at Georgia State University. His research focuses on the foundations of economic theory, and the psychology of addiction, risk, and time preference.

Glenn Harrison is professor of risk management and Director of the Center for the Economic Analysis of Risk at Georgia State University. He also consults for bodies including the World Bank, the Swedish and Danish governments, the E.P.A., the Australian Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety, and governments suing tobacco and drug companies in the U.S. and Canada.
