Debut author Glen Gordon was born and raised in Newfoundland, graduated from Memorial University, and taught there for years. But it was only when he spent several years away from the Rock in Africa that he explored his memories and heritage and what it means to be a Newfoundlander. He spent over three years researching and writing Blue Moon on Water in the hopes that it will inspire others and keep the stories of his home province alive for generations to come. Glen lives with his wife, Karen, and teaches part-time in Peace River, Alberta, close to their children and grandchildren.
