Ann Calandro is an artist, writer, editor, and proofreader. Her poetry and short stories have been published in literary journals and anthologies. She uses paper, colored pencil, soft pastel, chalk, ink, and fabric to create her mixed media artwork. This is her third children's book. Her earlier books are Never Stop Drawing (2015) and Second Chances (2016), both published by Shanti Arts. Calandro is from New York, but now lives in New Jersey.
