Marnie Hill is a mother and grandmother. Twenty years ago, her son-in-law passed away, leaving two young children and a grieving widow. A communications professional, Marnie wrote this story to help her young grandchildren make sense of what had happened and find a way to heal. She wanted them to be able to positively remember their father, and be comforted to know that his spirit lives on in their hearts.

Marnie holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and currently resides in Toronto. She is a personal historian who is passionate about helping others capture their life stories. Marnie has made a number of memory books to mark special occasions and milestones, and to honour those who have died.
