Robert Burton Robinson's formal education and experience is in music and computer science. He composed and orchestrated eleven church choir musicals, and published seven of those musicals. Then he produced and conducted the studio recordings. Mr. Robinson also worked as a software engineer for a NASA contractor for fourteen years, writing software for Mission Control Center in Houston. Beginning in 2006, Robert wrote eleven suspense and mystery novels and a short story collection. In 2020, he created a comic strip, Mimi & Iffy, and published fifty-six episodes via Facebook. In 2021, he used the experience he gained while illustrated the comic strip to create The Problem with The Three, a children's picture book. Robert and his wife, Lynda, live near Houston, Texas. The Problem with The Three was inspired by their youngest grandson, Liam.
