Dancers at heart, writers in the wings, Doris Greenberg and Pandre' Shandley are lifelong Wisconsinites. They are former dance teachers who served as co-workers with combined classroom careers of over 40 plus years. They were privileged to accompany their dancers to many national conventions coast-to-coast.Over the years, students planted the seed, "What's a good dance book to read?" Inspired to write, their Dance Legacy Series was created reflecting their love for the students they've trained and their passion for the world of dance. Their debut novel, The Legend of L'Esprit, proudly earned a National Indie Excellence Award for Young Adult Fiction. Its sequel, Chasing the Spotlight, captures the emotions and drama of a national dance competition in New York City.The community-minded pair have also established a writer's workshop to help aspiring authors navigate the publishing industry. They enjoy speaking to students to promote the importance of strong language arts skills. Their partnership has been a remarkable multi-decade journey of faith and tenacity.
