She started her professional career in the 1990s as a typesetter, layout artist and designer for technical publications. She was the editor of the Company's newsletters and co-author of a newsletter for the Northern Newfoundland Club with bestie, Chris Tedder. She is continually amazed at how far technology has come and has genuinely fallen in love with InDesign and subtitling apps. (Yep, every video needs sub-titles; a great marketing tool.) Ladey runs the publishing family business called Pink Parties Press, helping ambitious business people, poets, children's authors and other writers to write and publish their books. She invariably has her own book in production. When not writing, or publishing, you can usually find her in the garden, talking to God and doing activities including brick building, dry stone walling, or mosaics. Ladey has always loved meeting people and learning more about their business - as her networking prowess has grown she has learnt how to benefit both their business and her own. She says, My life wouldn't be so rich without business networking. Now business networking offline and online is an integral strategy to helping more people publish the book inside them. I've given as many talks as I've had hot dinners! 4Networking (Newark) - 2019 - Group Coordinator The Selling Network - 2015 - Co-Founder with Abbirose Adey Women's Golf Network (Lincolnshire) - 2012 - Director/Founder Pink & Blue Networking Group (Lincoln) - for men and women - 2011 Founder Spotlight Networking (raising money for charity through business networking) 2011 - Founder Athena Women's Network - 2008 - Regional Director for Lincoln, Grantham, Sleaford and Boston.
