Growing up, I remember how I cherished the beautiful garden my mother kept in our compound. At home, sweet, and sometimes intense and rich aroma of herbs continually wafted from my mother's kitchen. Every meal that was served at the dinner table included ingredients from the garden.
From these experiences, I adapted tremendous love for nature and passion for gardening. An ardent gardener, I have experimented with different gardening methods and techniques that have enabled me to reap a bumper harvest of fruits, vegetables, and herbs all year round and brought me the pride of having assorted ornamental plants in my compound.
