Murray Pura is a winner of the Hemingway Award, along with co-author Patrick Craig, for the WW2 novel Far on the Ringing Plains. He's also won awards for his novels The Sunflower Season and The White Birds of Morning. He works with Elk Lake, HarperCollins, Barbour, and other publishing houses. He lives and writes in the Rocky Mountains of southwestern Alberta.
