Max Talley, born in New York City, holds a B.A. in literature. A former musician who played CBGB and Bleecker Street clubs in the late '80s and '90s, he has published 60+ stories and essays since 2015 in a variety of publications including Vol.1 Brooklyn, Atticus Review, and The Saturday Evening Post. His books include Yesterday We Forget Tomorrow (2013), Santa Fe Psychosis (2021), My Secret Place (2022), and When The Night Breathes Electric (2023). His short story "Celestial Vagabonds" won Jerry Jazz Musician's Best Fiction Contest. Talley has lived in California since the mid-'90s and resides in Santa Barbara.
