William Turin is currently a technology consultant at AT&T LabsÑResearch in Florham Park, New Jersey. As a member of the technical staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories for over 15 years, he has worked on methods for designing and quantifying the performance of transmission systems. He is the author of numerous technical papers and four previous books.
