Robert M. Sherfield, Ph.D. is an educator, motivational speaker, and author. Robb has been teaching public speaking, technical writing, and college success at various colleges for 32 years. He received his Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina. He has authored and coauthored over 30 books including Cornerstones for College Success, The Everything Self-Esteem Book, and 365 Things I Learned in College. Robb's first professional position out of graduate school was Children's Librarian for the Union Carnegie Library in Union, South Carolina. He has been awarded the Distinguished Teacher of the Year award four times from three different colleges. Recently, he was named Online Teacher of the Year at the College of Southern Nevada. Robb currently resides in Las Vegas and lives with this best friend, Chester the Cat.
