Jan Luck holds a degree in speech pathology and audiology. She began her career working for the State of Arkansas serving clients of all ages with special needs. She dedicated her career to working as a Speech Therapist for the Mountain Home, Arkansas Public Schools, where she worked with children on the autism spectrum. Mrs. Luck has developed and presented continuing education seminars on the topic of autism for teachers, therapists, and parents. She has been a guest speaker in many university classes. She is a contributing author to the book Stars in her Eyes; Navigating the Maze of Childhood Autism, and The Nuts and Bolts of Autism. Ms. Luck has co-authored a series of books to help children understand autism, the Albert series. She currently resides in Nixa, Missouri, where she is the President of the non-profit organization Stars for Autism.
