Author Scott J. Larson is an award-winning creative director, screenwriter and lifelong football fan. He has developed advertising campaigns for some of the world's biggest brands including an NFL campaign for Samsung. His book Cumberland: The True Story of the Highest Scoring Football Game in History was inspired by a simple trivia mention in the newspaper and has also been adapted into a screenplay. The gridiron tale is richly layered with the perfect storm of events that led to the most infamous disaster in the history of sports. Larson currently resides in Chicago with his artist wife and adopted cat. In his spare time, he plays blues guitar and makes handcrafted metal guitar picks.
