James holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, Politics, and International Relations from the University of Auckland, where he balanced academic pursuits with his passion for writing. His debut novel, Zealandia: The Dreadstones Grasp, began as an idea during the pandemic when he was just 18. Witnessing the isolation many faced, James wanted to create a story that offered solace-an escape into a world filled with friendship, wonder, and adventure.
