Tom Copeland is a native of New Mexico who moved to Indiana and got married just before being drafted into the US Army in August 1966. He served in Vietnam with the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division from February 1967 to January 1968. Upon release from the Army, Tom worked and raised a family. PTSD steadily crept into his life, leading to a divorce and a healing trip to Vietnam in 2013. Tom has two degrees from Purdue University in Organizational Management. He is retired and living in Oklahoma with his second wife and enjoys fishing and carving.
