Sheila Simmons (Lena, MS) is passionate about cooking and cookbooks. Her interest in regional recipes was originally born during 18 years with Quail Ridge Press in Brandon, MS. A member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals, Sheila serves as Children's Director for Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church (Brandon MS) and is Publisher at Great American Publishers (Brandon MS). She lives in Lena, Mississippi, with her husband, Roger, where they raised two sons "" Ryan, who is married to Shelbie and father to Trace (Sheila's first grandchild) and Nicholas, who is currently in college with plans to become a farmer. In addition to publishing, cooking, and collecting recipes, Sheila enjoys family, reading, antique cars, and collecting books.
