ALESSANDRO MANZETTI Alessandro Manzetti is a two-time Bram Stoker Award-winning author, editor, scriptwriter and essayist of horror fiction and dark poetry. His work has been published extensively (more than 40 books) in Italian and English, including novels, short and long fiction, poetry, essays, graphic novels and collections. English publications include his novels Shanti - The Sadist Heaven (2019) and Naraka - The Ultimate Human Breeding (2018), the novella The Keeper of Chernobyl (2019), the collections The Radioactive Bride (2020) and The Garden of Delight (2017) the poetry collections Whitechapel Rhapsody (2020), The Place of Broken Things (2019, with Linda D. In addition to the Bram Stoker Award (which he has won twice, and been nominated for 12 times), he is a winner of the SFPA Elgin Award (along with eight nominations), and a winner of the HWA Specialty press Award which he received as the owner and editor-in-chief of Independent Legions Press. He has been nominated multiple times for the Splatterpunk Awards, This Is Horror Awards, Rhysling Awards and Indie Horror Books Awards. He has translated works by Ramsey Campbell, Richard Laymon, Poppy Z. Brite, Edward Lee, Graham Masterton, Gary Braunbeck, Gene O'Neill, Lisa Morton, Lucy Snyder, H. P. Lovecraft, Bram Stoker, Edgar Allan Poe, Aleister Crowley. Manzetti is the CEO and Founder of Independent Legions Publishing, editor of Molotov Magazine (in Italian), an HWA Active member and a former HWA Board of Trustees member. He has twice served on the Bram Stoker Award Lifetime Achievement Award Jury, and in 2021 he served the Science Fiction Poetry Association as the Rhysling Award Chair.
