RICHARD SCARRY, one of the best-loved children’s book creators ever, began his career in the late 1940s at Golden Books. His 1963 book I Am a Bunny is an icon. ELOISE WILKIN is known for her beautiful paintings of cherubic children and scenes of nature in the dozens of Golden Books she illustrated over decades.
