Canadian native, Marie Paris, was born in 1951 in eastern New Brunswick, in a small French speaking fishing village. In 1955 her mother and father decided to uproot their family and move to the city of Fredericton. Paris left school at 15 to go to work and help her family. Eventually at 21 she moved to Ontario where she met and married the father of her 4 children. Marie raised her family and it was not until her daughter's untimely death, she decided to return to school at 55 and finish her education. She studied college law, English, Anthropology, phycology, and sociology. Paris returned to her roots where she is enjoying what was taken from her as a child.
