Rob was born in San Francisco but grew up in England. After studying Ancient History at university, he worked for a bit in advertising and then started writing non-fiction for a children's publishing company. He has written two middle-grade fiction series for Walker, and is working on a younger series. He lives in Sussex with his wife and two young sons.
