L. S. Wood graduated from Mount Wachusett Community College and attended Fitchburg State University. He worked for a bank before going to work in various industries, including real estate, construction, and home heating oil delivery. Now retired, he has turned to writing, having authored children's books, science fiction novels, love stories, and more. He lives in Winchendon, Massachusetts with Rebecca, his wife of more than fifty years.
