Janet Fisher lives with her husband in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Her love of writing began in Nova Scotia where she grew up and attended university, majoring in English literature. She has had a varied career as a teacher, librarian and hospital chaplain. Along with her husband and two sons, she has always enjoyed a deep love of nature. Living near the ocean and the mountains informs and inspires her poetry.
