Liz Lewinson is an award-winning author, a speaker, technologist, meditator, teacher and feminist. In the Spring of 1981, Liz met a young American Buddhist teacher at a classroom at UCLA. Rama's teachings on feminism inspired her to embark on a lifelong study of the root causes of feminism and the power of women. Many years later, at Rama's request, she became his biographer and wrote this book Liz began her career as a free-lance journalist, publishing her work in a number of magazines and newspapers. After several years, she segued to public relations and immediately gained work in top PR agencies in Los Angeles. Her mass media clients included Tri-Star Television, Stephen J. Cannell Productions, Carson Productions ("The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson"), Hanna Barbera and others. In her next career move, she trained and became adept in computer science. As head of her own technology consulting firm, she worked for Fortune 100 companies to bring numerous multi-million dollar technical projects to fruition. She became a contributing editor to PC AI (Artificial intelligence) Magazine. She also wrote "Independence Ring: Rock the Female Revolution."
