Born in Sunderland, England, David's writing journey formerly began in 2015 when he finished his first draft of his upcoming picture book, Pirates vs Monsters. After working close to the Stockton Central Library, David was hooked on bringing back new picture books for himself and son, George, to enjoy and it was then that his love of these books transformed into studying the craft of writing.
