DAVID HUMPHREY is the author of several books on Indiana history, including Pendleton (Images of America), Anderson (Images of America), Indiana's Lost National Road, All Those Years Ago, Indiana's Lost Speedways and Legendary Drivers, and Abandoned Madison County: The Demise of an Industrial Region. Humphrey has won several photography awards that includes Best of Show at the Indiana State Fair (1999), Honorable mention Gordon Parks International Photography Contest (2005), and the Kodak Gallery Award for Portrait Photography (2005). Humphrey resides in Pendleton, Indiana, with his son, Evan.
