Writing good character-building stories for children and young adults is a challenge that J. Arvid Ellison readily accepts. Every one of his many books contains issues that face both young and old alike. In dramatizing life's testing moments, he hopes to teach skills for life and lessons for developing a quality spirit. He retired form the army and resides with his family in Chandler, Arizona.
