Michael P. Kost was born and raised in Long Island, Westbury, New York. After graduating from high school, he served in U.S. Army. He was assigned in Berlin, Germany. He witnessed the construction of the Berlin Wall by the East Germans and Russians. Michael and his wife Alicia continue to reside in Hawaii but spend time in the Philippines, taking care of their family business - raising cattles.
