In a career spanning forty years, the former Daily Express chief football correspondent has covered numerous World Cups, and the 70 books he has written include collaborations with Kevin Keegan, George Graham, Gordon Banks, Billy Wright and Tommy Docherty. He is also a noted comedy scriptwriter, having worked as a co-columnist with Eric Morecambe for ten years and written six Carry On novels. Norman, a member of the This Is Your Life scriptwriting team for 14 years, lives in Dorset with Eileen, his wife of forty-two years. He has written 17 books in harness with Jimmy Greaves, his close friend who provides an appetising foreword to Football And All That.
