Katie Shockley grew up in Homewood, AL and at Trinity United Methodist Church. She is a graduate of Auburn University, Northwestern University, and Southern Methodist University. She earned a Master's degree of Church Ministries in Christian Education from Perkins at SMU in 2009. Katie and her husband Steve live outside Dallas, TX and enjoy RVing, cycling, and kayaking. Katie is a licensed local pastor and currently serves as associate at First UMC Sachse, TX. She is a regular contributor to Daily Bible Study, FaithLink, and the Current Events Supplement for Adult Bible Studies. She has authored and self-published several adult Bible studies.
