Maureen Seaton has authored twenty-two poetry collections, both solo and collaborative-most recently, Sweet World (CavanKerry, 2019), winner of the Florida Book Award in Poetry, and the chapbooks Myth America (Anhinga, 2020), co-written with Carolina Hospital, Nicole Hospital-Medina, and Holly Iglesias, and Zero-Zero (Hysterical Books, 2021), co-written with Kristine Snodgrass. Her honors include the NEA, Pushcart, and Lambda Literary Awards for Furious Cooking (Iowa, 1996) and Sex Talks to Girls: A Memoir (U. of Wisconsin, 2008, 2018). Her work has appeared in Best American Poetry and numerous anthologies and literary journals. Seaton is Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Miami and was voted Miami's Best Poet 2020 by The Miami New Times.
