Author Alice B. McGinty has written many nonfiction titles and a picture book, Ten Little Lambs. If you peeked in her pockets, you might find scraps of paper and a pen for writing, a pebble or two, and a photo of her husband, Brendan, and their two sons, Jake and Zachary. An enthusiastic athlete, Alice lives with her family in Urbana, Illinois.
