Luis Munoz escaped oppression in Chile in the mid-1970s after having been incarcerated and tortured under the Pinochet regime.
Eventually he found asylum in London and has been campaigning for the abused and 'disappeared' in Chile ever since. He now lives in Brighton and is a well-known commentator on Chilean affairs, often appearing on national TV and radio. He is closely linked with the Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture and works for the World's End Neighbourhood Advice Centre specialising in asylum cases.
