Anthony Horowitz is one of the most prolific writers working in the UK, and is unique for working in so many areas – juggling books, TV series, films, plays and journalism. Anthony has written over 50 books, including the bestselling Alex Rider teen spy series – now running to 14 books – which is estimated to have sold 21 million copies worldwide and has been filmed for TV, and the thrilling fantasy-adventure series, The Power of Five.
Anthony is also an acclaimed writer for adults, and was commissioned to write new novels for the Sherlock Holmes and James Bond franchises. His adult crime fiction includes Magpie Murders and Moonflower Murders and the Hawthorne series, and his TV work includes the award-winning Foyle’s War, Midsomer Murders, Collision and Injustice.
Anthony is proud to be a patron of the charity Home-Start in Suffolk. In 2022 he was awarded a CBE for services to literature.
