Chrys Howard was previously a senior editor and creative director for Simon & Schuster. She has edited and co-written more than 100 books and is the author of nine (and has more than 1,000,000 copies in print in six languages!). She has also taught children with special needs, directed a youth camp, and worked as a photographer. She lives in West Monroe, Louisiana. She and her husband have three children, including Korie, and eleven grandchildren.
