Brian Jacques was an English writer, best known for his Redwall and Castaways of the Flying Dutchman series. He also completed two collections of short stories entitled The Ribbajack & Other Curious Yarns and Seven Strange and Ghostly Tales. Brian has written both poetry and music, but he began his
writing career in earnest as a playwright. His three stage plays Brown Bitter, Wet Nellies and Scouse have been performed at the Everyman Theatre.
