A Boston native, Mike Ryan has worked as a teacher, reporter, communications specialist, and freelance writer. He holds a bachelor's degree in history from Boston State College and a master's degree in journalism from Boston University. His byline has appeared in newspapers and magazines. He has written ten novels and suffers from a serious addiction to bookstores. He lives with his family southwest of Fenway Park.
